A Message From Broken Yolk Cafe


Dear Guests, 


In order to keep you and our team members safe, Broken Yolk is going above and beyond CDC guidelines with following steps: 

  1. ANY employee who appears sick, has a fever, or a cough is not allowed to work. We have educated our restaurant team members about the signs, symptoms and detection of Coronavirus, as well as distributed valuable health and safety information from the CDC. 

  1. Our employees are required to wear face masks. We kindly suggest that our guests wear face masks in common areas and especially while using the restrooms where social distancing is more difficult.   

  1. We have adjusted the dining room and spaced out our tables to comply with social distancing guidelines. 

  1. ALL high touch items like doorknobs are disinfected every 30 minutes with proven cleaning products following the EPA Guidelines. 

  1. Every table gets cleaned, sanitized and disinfected between seatings as an extra precaution. 

  1. We use disposable menus or sanitize our regular menus after a single use. We are also sanitizing pens. 

  1. Signs are posted to remind guests to wash their hands. We demand and enforce proper handwashing with our staff. 

  1. Use of gloves has been expanded to include the delivery of food to tables. 

  1. We have increased the frequency and rigor of our cleaning and sanitation throughout the entire restaurant. 

  1. We re-evaluated all to-go and food service procedures to ensure all possible safety measures are being taken. We will also be using a tamper evident sticker on all To-Go order bags. 

We have a dedicated team who are continuing to monitor this outbreak closely and will stay up to date with the Center for Disease Control and local authorities to keep our guests safe. We strongly encourage you to keep yourself safe too. We thank you for your continued trust in the Broken Yolk Café, as we all face this challenge together.
